Chris Hapstack has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Chris started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at ExxonMobil in 2012 and 2013, where they worked on projects such as optimizing gas compressor performance and improving fire detection systems. Chris then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Koops Incorporated from 2014 to 2016. After that, they joined the Zodiac Nautic as a Consulting Engineer, where they developed a digitization system for boat parts and standardized designs internationally. From 2016 to 2019, Chris worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at the Zucker Institute for Applied Neurosciences. In 2019, they joined MiRus™ as a Research and Development Engineer. Chris'smost recent role was at Tesla, where they served as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer from 2020 to 2023. At Tesla, they designed power electronics components and systems for energy storage applications and improved powder conveyance for battery cell production. Chris is currently working as a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Remedy Robotics.

Chris Hapstack completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2011, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Cambridge, focusing on Literature and History for a brief period.
