Ben Porter

Ben Porter is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Senior Program Manager - Technical, Risk at Remitly since March 2020, where leadership in global Risk Operations projects has been key. At Remitly, Ben also co-leads the Out@ Remitly affinity group for LGBTQ+ employees and serves as the Interim DEI Leader, supporting global DEI initiatives. Prior experience includes significant roles at Amazon, where Ben managed Alexa Skills initiatives and led the Developer Advocate team, overseeing global collaboration and technical solutions. A proven track record in risk management and operations is complemented by earlier positions at Bank of America and Target, where Ben developed strong leadership and operational expertise. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature and Linguistics from Western Washington University.
