David Gorton

David Gorton, CPA, CMA, currently serves as the Financial Reporting Manager at Remitly since August 2025. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Vale Group from October 2016 to August 2025, including Manager of Real Estate Finance, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing financial planning and analysis for a $2+ billion real estate portfolio. Earlier experience includes roles such as Senior Accountant for Business Development, focusing on financial analysis for a potential museum expansion, and Staff Accountant, managing accounting functions for diverse projects. David has also worked as an Accountant at The Seattle Public Library, where financial performance reporting was key, and as an Accounting/Business Analyst at Blackfoot Telecommunications Group, contributing to cost reduction efforts.
