Matt Tiberio

Matt Tiberio is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in consumer product and marketing law, currently serving as the Director of Consumer Product and Marketing Legal at Remitly since October 2022. Prior to this role, Tiberio held positions including Director of Corporate Counsel at Bill.com, where responsibilities included leading legal support for payment and banking products, and Senior Product and Regulatory Counsel at LendUp, advising on consumer protection and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Tiberio has significant experience from Relman, Dane & Colfax PLLC in consumer financial services compliance, advocating for disabled individuals at the Rhode Island Disability Law Center, and litigating complex commercial cases as an Associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP. Tiberio holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.
