Mike Foster

Mike Foster is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in risk management and product development. Currently serving as the VP of Risk Product at Remitly since October 2016, Mike leads the Risk Product organization and is actively hiring talent. Prior to Remitly, Mike held the position of Director of Technology at Apple Leisure Group, where leadership involved the development of a travel search and booking platform. Additionally, Mike operated as Principal and Owner of Mike Foster Consulting/FreeHouse Ventures, providing independent contracting services. Previous roles include Sr. Software Development Manager at Amazon, focusing on buyer risk and fraud prevention, and various leadership positions at Expedia, Inc., and BEA Systems, covering technology product management and development. Mike Foster holds a BS in Computer Science and Music from Willamette University.
