Phil Lowry

Phil Lowry is an accomplished legal professional with expertise in information security, privacy law, and cyber operations. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Remitly, Phil provides legal advice around the NIST Cyber Security and Privacy Frameworks. As a volunteer Working Group Team Lead for NIST, Phil aids in defining tasks necessary for effective implementation of the Privacy Framework. With additional roles including Advisory Board Member at the International Association of Privacy Professionals and General Counsel for the Montana Army National Guard, Phil excels in leading cyber law initiatives and promoting operational excellence across various entities. Phil's prior experience includes pivotal legal roles in both the Utah Army National Guard and Progrexion, where significant contributions were made in establishing compliance frameworks and enhancing cybersecurity training.
