Matthew Lee

Matthew (Max) Lee is a Mechanical Engineer II at Remora, where a focus on capturing carbon emissions from semi trucks contributes to sustainable practices in the industry. Previous experience includes a research assistant role at UC Berkeley's BioMechanics Lab, examining failure mechanics of fiber reinforced tissues, and serving as a cohort lead for Girls in Engineering, mentoring students in various engineering disciplines. Additionally, Matthew participated in Pioneers in Engineering, designing an annual robotics competition game, and contributed to the UC Berkeley Formula SAE Chassis Team to enhance racing vehicle design. Matthew has also been a DeCal facilitator on the psychology of magic and held roles in teaching and design at the Lawrence Hall of Science. Academic progression began with time at Campolindo High School, ultimately leading to a degree from UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
