Max Lee

Max has conducted research and co-authored papers with LBNL and UC Berkeley on a patented breast cancer prognostic model and the characterization of disease-related changes to intervertebral disc mechanics, respectively. As a mechanical engineering student at UC Berkeley, Max was a member of the Formula SAE racing team, where he cut his teeth designing, manufacturing, and testing automotive parts. After taking auto shop class in high school, Max was the first person in his family to change the oil in their own car.
