Ryan Forster

Ryan Forster is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins, where they develop infectious-disease models to optimize the use of public health resources. Their work with the TB/HIV Modeling Group focuses on creating localized models for syphilis and HIV across 32 high-risk U.S. cities, assessing the impact and cost-effectiveness of new diagnostics and interventions. Ryan earned a PhD in Systems and Computational Biology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where they researched microbial evolution and host interactions, producing multiple publications on microbial and viral data.
