Thomas Meissner

Senior Research Scientist at Remote Sensing Systems

Thomas Meissner is currently a Senior Research Scientist at Remote Sensing Systems since July 1998, where Thomas focuses on developing algorithms for measuring oceanographic and meteorological parameters. Prior to their current role, Thomas held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, University of South Carolina, and University of Washington in the field of Theoretical Nuclear Physics. In their early career, Thomas worked as a Research Assistant at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and Forschungszentrum Jülich. Thomas holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Ruhr University Bochum, a Master's Degree in Physics from The University of Bonn, and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
