Gillian O'Brien

Gillian O'Brien is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in management, entrepreneurship, and mentorship. Currently serving as General Manager of Remote Talent at Remote since October 2023, Gillian is instrumental in connecting job seekers and top employers through a remote-first job board. Concurrently, Gillian contributes as a Venture Scout at CRV and a Startup Mentor at 500 Global. Previously, as Founder in Residence at Pilot.com from 2022 to October 2023, significant growth and partnerships were developed, contributing 15% of the customer base. As Chief of Staff at Dover from 2020 to 2022, Gillian facilitated the acquisition of 100 customers and a $1.2 million increase in annual recurring revenue within 10 months. Earlier experience includes co-founding and serving as CEO of Cherry (YC 19) from 2018 to 2020 and managing social media and influencer marketing at Terez in early 2018.
