Marta Jou is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international operations and legal counsel. Currently serving as Head of International Operations at Remote since January 2021, Marta leads global expansion initiatives and entity management projects with a focus on revenue growth and risk mitigation. Previously, Marta established the legal and compliance department at CASAFARI as Legal Counsel, contributing to the startup's foundational legal framework. Marta has held various legal roles, including Legal Associate at Privatelawyers, Compliance Analyst at Sovos, and intern positions at K&L Gates and Jones Day. Additionally, Marta founded the Sussex division of Lawyers Without Borders and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Sussex, along with further education from The Wharton School and The University of Law.
