Rafa Paez

Rafa Páez is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Remote since June 2022, overseeing multiple teams and managing a group of Team Leaders and Staff Engineers. Previously, Rafa held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Cabify, where leadership spanned multiple high-performing engineering teams, alongside a role as Principal Software Engineer, contributing to the design and implementation of a real-time pricing engine. Additional experience includes co-founding NewSteer as CTO, leading teams at Funding Circle UK, and holding senior engineering roles at Workshare, SkyDox, and Juniper. Rafa's career began as a Software Developer at AENA and has included educational qualifications from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and Universitat de les Illes Balears in Computer Science.
