Melissa Wheeler

Melissa Wheeler has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Melissa began their career as an RN at Suburban Medical Center from 1992 to 1994. Melissa then worked at Humana Health Care Plans, Inc as a Physician Referral Nurse Specialist/Nurse Advisor from 1994 to 1997. Following that, they joined Anthem Blue Cross as a Utilization Management Nurse in 1999, where they ensured high-quality and cost-efficient medical outcomes for enrollees. Melissa worked at Boone County Schools as an RN from 2014 to 2019 before transitioning to Removery. At Removery, they started as a Laser Specialist/RN in 2019 and then progressed to the role of Project and Operations Manager in 2021. Melissa currently holds the position of Senior Project Manager at Removery.

Melissa Wheeler's education history begins with their high school education at Waggener High School, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Louisville, where they studied until 1993.

In addition to their formal education, Melissa obtained certification as a registered nurse in both Kentucky and Ohio. Melissa achieved this certification in June 1994, further augmenting their qualifications in the field of nursing.
