John spent over 7 years building and managing market data applications, trading systems, and infrastructure for

one of the largest brokerage houses on Wall Street. John has also spent more than 6 years directing Enterprise IT operations and security for a multinational, publicly traded defense contractor, setting policy, directing

governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities with respect to many US

and foreign government standards and regulations. John also has extensive experience in the information security space and holds a CISSP certification, SFPC certification from the DoD Defense Security Service, the CSFI-DCOE cyber-operations certification, and is a member of the DHS Critical Infrastructure Protection Advisory Council.
