Gemma Buchanan

Gemma Buchanan is an Education Specialist at Renaissance, leveraging extensive experience as an English teacher and senior leader in various educational settings. Previously, Gemma served as an Assistant Headteacher responsible for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment at TKAT Thomas Bennett Community College while also leading English and Literacy initiatives across multiple schools. With a passion for enhancing student engagement and literacy, Gemma has contributed to teacher training as Deputy Programme Lead at The South Downs SCITT/DMAT. Gemma holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Sussex and a PGCE in Secondary English from the University of Brighton.
