Lisa Maynard has extensive work experience in the field of user experience research and human factors. Lisa started their career as a Human Factors Consultant at Humansystems Inc in 2001, where they analyzed and interpreted complex statistical data, performed task analyses, and conducted user trials. In 2005, they joined General Dynamics Land Systems as a Human Factors Specialist, providing support to various design teams and leading a key project involving the design and implementation of a digital user interface for the LAV vehicle. Since 2011, they have been working at Renaissance Learning, initially as a Lead User Experience Researcher and currently as the Director of User Experience Research.
Lisa Maynard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Ergonomics from the University of Waterloo. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications in Problem Solving from McKinsey & Company in 2020 and Leading Others from the Leadership Pipeline Institute in 2019.
