Marlene Turner

Marlene Turner is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as an Account Executive at Renaissance Learning since January 2022, Marlene previously held the position of Account Executive at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt from October 2015 to December 2021 and worked as a Literacy Specialist at Pearson North America from January 2014 to August 2015. Earlier in the career, Marlene contributed as an Education Consultant at the Mississippi Department of Education from 2011 to January 2014 and held multiple roles, including Administrator and Literacy Coach, at Jackson Public Schools from August 2005 to January 2014. Additionally, Marlene served as the District Literacy Reform Facilitator and Teacher at Orleans Parish School Board from August 1992 to August 2005. Marlene holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Xavier University of Louisiana, completed in 2006, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the same institution, obtained in 1992.
