Kathe Wallace, PT is an internationally recognized clinician, author, lecturer, and pioneer in physical therapy evaluation and treatment of male and female pelvic floor dysfunction. She began her career in 1976 and started specializing in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (PFD) in 1988.
Her professional mission is to educate health care professionals and the public regarding nonsurgical treatment for bladder, bowel, and sexual function. In 2006, she was honored to receive the Washington state physical therapy association (PTWA) Clinical Excellence Award for her pioneering work in pelvic floor dysfunction. She currently serves as an independent study Clinical Instructor, in the Division of Physical Therapy, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, at the University of Washington.
