Bertrand Hoffmann

Bertrand Hoffmann is currently the Chief Vehicle Engineer for Segment B Hybrid versions at Groupe Renault, where they are developing the first vehicle with a hybrid version, including a plug-in option. Since 2015, they have served as the General Manager of System and Platform Engineering at Renault Romania, overseeing a budget of around €15 million and managing a team of 520 employees across multiple global plants. Prior to this, Bertrand held various roles including R&D Engineering Manager at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems and Project Manager at Delphi, contributing extensive expertise in electric and electronic components for automotive applications. Bertrand earned a Master of Engineering from Ecole nationale supérieure d'Arts et Métiers and an MBA from IAE Lille.
