Ion Apsan has over 25 years of experience in engineering and management within the automotive and aerospace industries. Currently serving as a Vehicle Architecture Senior Manager at Renault Group since May 2009, Ion Apsan has also held various project management roles within the company. Prior to Renault Group, Ion Apsan worked at ALTEN as a Technical Coordinator and Vehicle Lighting Engineering Manager, as well as at Elsag Eastern Europe as a Business Analyst. Ion Apsan's early career includes positions as an Automotive Engineer at Inthelrom and as an Injection Moulds Design Engineer at Subansamble Auto. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers and a Bachelor of Engineering in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
