Javier I.

Javier I. is a seasoned expert in autonomous systems and AI, currently serving as Corporate Expert at Groupe Renault since January 2018, where responsibilities include leading a network of specialists in connected autonomous vehicles. Previously, Javier held various roles at Groupe Renault, including R&D Manager for autonomous vehicles from 2005 to 2017, where an R&D team for autonomous passenger vehicles was established, and notable implementations such as Autonomous Valet Parking were achieved. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Scientist at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology from 1997 to 2005, managing projects related to unmanned ground vehicles. Javier's academic qualifications include a PhD in Engineering from the University of Reading and an MSEE from the University of Pennsylvania, along with a BSc in Cybernetics & Control Engineering from the University of Reading.
