Selim Akbaş

Selim Akbaş is currently the Director of Public Affairs at Groupe Renault, specializing in stakeholder engagement and government relations. Previously, Selim served as a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Turkey from 2001 to 2004 and held the position of Executive at the Prime Ministry from 1995 to 2006. Selim further developed expertise in government relations while working as a Government Relations Manager at British American Tobacco from 2006 to 2012 and as Corporate Affairs Director at Doluca Wine Company from 2012 to 2016. Selim is pursuing a Master of Laws in Public Law at Kadir Has Üniversitesi and holds a Bachelor of Laws from Istanbul University.
