James Smith

James Smith is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with over three years of experience in the ground investigation and geotechnical engineering industries. They have worked on both small and large-scale infrastructure projects, gaining expertise in geotechnical design, including shallow foundation and pile design, as well as slope stability and seismic analysis. James's background includes roles at Rendel Limited and Arcadis, where they contributed to various aspects of geotechnical engineering. They hold a BEng (Hons) in Engineering Geology and Geotechnics from the University of Portsmouth and are currently pursuing further education at Bedford School.
