Lorenzo Soletti has extensive experience in the field of biomedical engineering. Lorenzo began their career in 2002 as a Research Fellow at Istituto Mario Negri. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh. During this time, they worked on developing a stem cells-based tissue engineered vascular graft. From 2006 to 2009, Lorenzo was the Co-Founder and Director of R&D at NeoGraft Technologies, Inc., where they co-invented the core technology and oversaw product development, optimization, innovation, and experimental design. Lorenzo then served as Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Pittsburgh from 2014 to 2017 before becoming Co-Founder and CEO of Venndoo, LLC., a local-based, mobile B2B and B2C marketplace for used household goods of low value. In 2017, Lorenzo became Co-Founder and CEO of Renerva, LLC.
Lorenzo Soletti completed their MBA at Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business between 2012 and 2014. Lorenzo obtained their Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh between 2003 and 2008. Lorenzo also obtained an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano between 1996 and 2002.
