Chris Smit

Chris Smit is a Sr. Director of Hardware Engineering at Renesas Electronics, where they manage the Radio IC design group focused on Low Energy Radio systems. Their career began as an RF Design Engineer at Ericsson, where they contributed to the design of DECT and Bluetooth radio ICs. Chris has extensive experience in mixed-signal verification and VCO design, having held various engineering and management roles at companies such as Dialog Semiconductor, SiTel Semiconductor, and National Semiconductor. They hold multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and The University of Kansas.
