Dave Cocca

Dave Cocca is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and quality assurance. Since April 2005, Dave has served as Senior Director of Software Development at Renesas Electronics, overseeing the engineering development for the Renesas RA & Synergy Platform. Dave has held various leadership positions within Renesas, including Vice President of the Engineering Unit and Director of MCU Application Engineering, also managing a team during a two-year expatriate assignment in Tokyo. Prior to Renesas, Dave worked at Mitsubishi Electric and Hitachi as a Staff Application Engineer and Manager during the merger to form Renesas Technology, and earlier at Eastman Kodak as a Design Engineer and Manager focusing on copier and camera design. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
