Derek Roosken is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and engineering roles across leading technology companies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Sales for the Americas West Area and Head of Sales for the Worldwide IOT Vertical at Renesas Electronics, Derek focuses on driving growth within top-tier computing and consumer markets. Prior to Renesas, Derek held various positions at IDT, including Senior Director of Sales for Strategic Automotive accounts, and was instrumental in managing global sales efforts and enhancing customer engagement. Earlier roles included engineering and sales positions at Detectachem, Texas Instruments, Cisco Systems, L-3 Communications, and others, culminating in a solid educational background with dual Bachelor's degrees in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
