John Shi

John (Fuqiang) Shi is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in integrated circuit design and engineering, currently serving as Director of IC Design and Engineering at Renesas Electronics since September 2021. Prior roles include Director of Digital Design and Digital Design Manager at Dialog Semiconductor, as well as positions at iWatt, Texas Instruments, and Conexant Inc. John has a strong background in microcontroller development, DSL DSP core design, and VLSI engineering, having led significant projects involving multimillion-gate products. John holds a Ph.D., MS, and BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University, where education was completed between 1987 and 1998.
