Johnathan Dear

Johnathan Dear is a Senior Manager at Renesas Electronics and has extensive experience in layout design and air traffic control. Prior to their current role, Johnathan served in the Army National Guard from 1989 to 1996 as an air traffic controller, managing operations and overseeing a team of controllers during Desert Storm. They progressed through several positions in the tech industry, working as a Senior Layout Designer at Cadence Design Systems, Semtech, and Intersil, where they specialized in the design of power management chips. Johnathan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from The University of Southern Mississippi, which they completed in 1995.
