Robert Lawless

Robert Lawless has extensive experience in engineering and technical leadership, currently serving as a Principal Field Applications Engineer at Renesas Electronics since March 2019, following a similar role at Integrated Device Technologies from July 2015 until its purchase by Renesas. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Staff Engineer at Huawei, focusing on product research and development in wearable technology and various sensor applications. Robert also held the position of Senior Engineer at Qualcomm, leading hardware applications for WLAN chipsets, and was a Senior Electrical Engineer at Motorola, where responsibilities included RF evaluation and automated test solutions. Robert began an engineering career at VIA Telecom, developing CDMA Baseband Chipsets. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
