Steve Norman has over 25 years of experience in the electronics industry, currently serving as Senior Manager at Renesas Electronics since May 2001, where responsibilities include managing European Building Automation Marketing and leading a global initiative in LED Lighting. Prior to Renesas, Steve held the position of Field Application Engineer at Abacus Polar, specializing in 8-bit microcontrollers and managing field applications for major franchises. Earlier experience includes engineering work at Drakard & Humble, focusing on the specification for signage products. Steve holds a 2.1 BEng Hons. degree in Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, complemented by an international placement at l'ecole d'ingenieurs de Tours.
