Terence Chen

Terence Chen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Director and Head of M&A and Investments at Renesas Electronics since January 2021, Terence has held various roles within the company, including Senior Corporate Counsel and Corporate Counsel. Prior to this, Terence worked as an Associate at Cooley LLP and gained experience as an Associate Corporate Counsel at Renesas Electronics. Earlier career stages included positions at DLA Piper as an Associate and Summer Associate, as well as a Judicial Extern with the Honorable Judge Lucy H. Koh at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Terence Chen holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Chinese from UCLA.
