Debjit Roy

Debjit Roy is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in fund raising and infrastructure financing. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager at ReNew since January 2022, Debjit manages international and domestic debt capital markets, focusing on USD bonds and loans. Prior to this role, Debjit worked as Financial Advisor at ENGIE and as Vice President at YES BANK, where responsibilities included financing for various sectors such as renewables and oil & gas. Additional experience includes positions at KPMG India, SBI Capital Markets, and NTPC, demonstrating expertise in project advisory, financial modeling, and debt and equity syndication. Debjit holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Silchar, where performance ranked in the top 10% of the class.
