Vikash Jain

Vikash Jain is a seasoned legal professional with approximately 24 years of diverse experience in various sectors, notably in strategic business advisory and corporate/commercial law. Currently serving as Global General Counsel (Group President) and a member of the Management Board at ReNew Power since May 2022, Vikash previously held prominent roles at Vedanta Resources Limited, including Group General Counsel and Sr. Vice President for multiple sectors, where responsibilities included Mergers & Acquisitions, compliance, and corporate governance. Furthermore, Vikash has served as Legal Counsel for Transocean, Vice President Legal at Jubilant Energy, and held various legal and company secretarial positions in earlier roles. An accomplished academic, Vikash holds an Executive MBA from the Indian School of Business in collaboration with Wharton and CEIBS, along with multiple legal and financial qualifications, including Company Secretary, Bachelor of Laws, and cost management credentials.
