Peter Schelander

Peter Schelander has a diverse work experience in the field of renewable energy and environmental research. Peter worked as a Senior Development Project Manager at RES since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AFRY from 2019 to 2022, where they served as a Project Manager and Senior Renewable Energy Consultant. From 2011 to 2019, Peter worked at Pöyry as a Project Manager and Senior renewable energy consultant, focusing on wind resource assessments, technical due diligence, R&D projects, and meteorological investigations. Peter also has experience as a Windpower consultant at Vattenfall Power Consultant from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, Peter worked as a Postdoctoral research associate at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation from 2006 to 2008, and as a PhD student/Research Fellow at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2005, specializing in Atmospheric Physics.

Peter Schelander completed their PhD in Atmospheric Physics at ETH Zürich from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended the University of Bergen (UiB) from 1999 to 2000, where they obtained a Cand Scient degree in Meteorology.
