Robert Ogden is the founder and CEO of Renewable Exchange, a Power Purchase Agreement marketplace and insight platform launched in 2016. They oversee a network of over 1,500 independent operational generators in the UK and Germany, with more than £100 million of PPAs transacting annually and over 4 GW of installed capacity. They are expanding globally, following a 2019 investment by Intelligent Energy Technology Ltd. Earlier in their career, they served as Trading Manager for Gas, Power & Renewables at OVO Energy from 2013 to 2017, where they traded £300 million in wholesale positions and established renewable products trading capabilities. Their background also includes roles as an Analyst at UBS Global Asset Management (2011–2012), Corporate Tax at KPMG (2012), an Angel Investor at 4hundred GmbH (2017–2019, exiting with a sale to Octopus Energy), and they earned a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath (2009–2013).
