Peter Stein

Peter Stein has a significant work experience spanning several decades. Peter is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Scientist at Maine Fishing Technology Corporation, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this role, they were the President and Chief Scientist at ReNewSnow starting from August 2017. Moreover, Peter Stein founded Scientific Solutions, Inc. in November 1992, where they served as the Founder and Principal.

Peter Stein completed their education in the field of oceanographic engineering. Peter first attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1980 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering. Peter then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Oceanographic Engineering, completing it from both MIT and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from 1982 to 1986. Additionally, in 1977 and 1979, Peter studied engineering at Cornell University and attended the Sea Education Association | SEA Semester program, respectively. In 1983, they returned to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution to earn another PhD in Ocean Engineering, which they completed in 1986.
