Ben Egglestone

Ben Egglestone is an experienced Lead Principal Embedded Systems Engineer at Renishaw with over two decades of expertise in embedded systems and product development. Since joining Renishaw in August 2002, Ben has progressed through various roles, including Lead Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, Senior Embedded Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, and Electronics Engineer, demonstrating a strong focus on rapid design turnaround, product improvement, and embedded software training. With a solid educational background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol, Ben has also contributed to hardware design and prototype testing during a year-long placement at Thorn Lighting. Technical proficiencies include working with various microcontrollers, software modeling, code maintenance, and project leadership in the machine tools division.
