Jim Long is currently the Director of Group Manufacturing at Renishaw, a position held since 2025. Previously, Jim held various roles at Renishaw, including Head of Global Manufacturing and General Manager Manufacturing UK. With a solid academic foundation, Jim earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath between 1998 and 2002. Prior educational achievements include four A Levels from Alcester Grammar School, completed in 1998.
