Jo Green

Jo Green has over 20 years of work experience in international technical communications and localization. They have worked at Renishaw since 2002, starting as a Translation Coordinator and advancing to become the Head of Technical Communications and Localization. At Renishaw, Jo has managed translation, localization, and internationalization projects, leading a team of project managers and in-house translators. They have also been responsible for vendor management, stakeholder relationship management, quality management, people management, cost management, and international marketing and brand management. Prior to joining Renishaw, Jo worked at Renishaw (Hong Kong) Ltd. as a Language Services Executive, where they maintained style guides and translation memory, and initiated and managed localized email marketing campaigns. They also spent 18 months on secondment to the subsidiary office in Germany, engaging key stakeholders and promoting localization.

Jo Green obtained a bachelor's degree in BA (Hons) Modern European Languages from the University of Liverpool between 1997 and 2001. The degree covered various aspects of language and literature, including French, Spanish, Catalan, Italian, linguistics, and European history. In addition to their education, Jo has also obtained certifications in Jira Fundamentals and Jira Service Management Fundamentals from Atlassian in 2024.
