Shailendra Apte

Shailendra Apte is a seasoned supply chain professional with over 20 years of cross-functional experience across Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, and Quality Assurance. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Renishaw, Shailendra oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and global sourcing, while leading a team of eight. Previously, Shailendra held a senior leadership role in purchasing at Vishay Components India, where responsibilities included vendor development and material sourcing on a global scale. Having started as a Junior Engineer in Quality Assurance, Shailendra developed a strong foundation in product development and ISO documentation. Shailendra holds degrees from COEP Technological University and Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
