Simon Biggs

Simon Biggs serves as the Early Careers & STEM Engagement Manager at Renishaw, where responsibilities include managing the intake of various early career cohorts and overseeing outreach programs to develop future talent in the South West region. In addition to this role, Simon is a Corporate Education Liaison for the Manufacturing Technologies Association, contributing to educational policy and promoting engagement initiatives. Simon also holds a directorship at Gloucestershire Engineering Training, coordinating work-based learning in engineering, and actively participates as a STEM ambassador, inspiring students in STEM fields. Furthermore, Simon has experience as an examiner for WJEC/CBAC, a firefighter with South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, a foster parent, an expedition assessor for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and a former teacher of Design & Technology. Prior military experience includes serving as a Mechanical Technician Engineer in the Royal Air Force. Educational qualifications include degrees in Business Administration and Design & Technology from the University of South Wales and Renishaw.
