I set up Rennison Consulting Ltd in 2008 initially to provide consultancy to intermediaries and product providers in the lead-up to the implementation of the RDR having in 2007 chaired the FSA’s RDR professionalism and reputation work stream prior to the publication of the FSA’s Discussion Paper 07/1.
I now provide consultancy and director services in the retail financial services sector to a wide range of intermediaries, providers, fund managers, and other companies engaged in the supply chain. I have a particular interest in the future shape of the retail financial services sector and focus primarily on regulatory change and its impact on intermediaries and providers, alongside corporate activities relating to acquisitions, sales, due diligence and fundraising.
I am a Non-Executive Director/Part-Time Director of a range of financial services intermediary firms where I provide support and challenge to help them sustain and grow their businesses.
My interest and focus in working with intermediary firms is to help them manage the challenges of change and the realisation of value in their businesses. During my career, I have held a variety of roles encompassing sales, strategy, product development, proposition, operations and, latterly, acquisitions, mergers and integrations together with corporate affairs, risk and regulatory matters.
