Alex Sumin

Alex Sumin is an experienced product professional with a background in startups and finance. Currently, Alex works at RenoFi, specializing in home renovation project financing. Previously, Alex co-founded ClaimCompass.eu, which assists travelers in claiming cash for flight disruptions, and served as a product leader at Service by ClaimCompass. Alex has also contributed as an Entrepreneur in Residence, advisor, mentor, and occasional investor for various startups and accelerators, including Techstars and the Founder Institute. Academic qualifications include an MBA from The University of Sheffield, a B.A. in Political Economy from Concordia University, and research experience at The University of Freiburg.
