Randeep S.

Randeep S. has a diverse work experience starting in 2018. Randeep worked as an iOS App Developer for Inspire Infotech Pvt. Ltd. for three months in 2018. Randeep then joined Penn State University where they held multiple roles including Proctor, Engineering Orientation Network Mentor, Organizing Team Member for Penn State Startup Week, and Event Team Member for GEW Penn State in various years.

In 2019, Randeep joined YSplit (Plato Apps Ltd) as a Growth Ambassador and worked there until 2021. During this time, they gained experience in business development and growth strategies.

In 2020, Randeep interned at CSL Behring as an Information Security Intern, where they supported the Director of Application Security in setting up the AppSec Program. Randeep was responsible for coordinating threat models, static and dynamic application security tests, and penetration tests for critical custom, COTS, and SAAS solutions.

In the same year, Randeep also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Penn State College of Information Sciences and Technology.

Starting in 2018 and continuing until 2021, Randeep held multiple roles at Penn State Information Technology, including Student Supervisor, Wagner Service Desk Consultant, and Lab Consultant. These roles involved supervising students, providing IT support, and assisting in managing technology resources.

Most recently, Randeep joined Rent. in 2021 as an Associate Information Security Engineer and was promoted to Security Engineer 1 in February 2023.

Randeep S. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity Analytics & Operations from Penn State University, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. In addition, they participated in a study abroad program at the National University of Singapore in 2018, focusing on Engineering Design. Prior to their university studies, Randeep completed their high school education at K.R. Mangalam World School from 2013 to 2017, where they studied subjects such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and English. Before that, Randeep attended DPS Agra from 2003 to 2013, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.

Randeep has also obtained additional certifications to supplement their education. In May 2021, they received the NSA Certification for Cybersecurity Professionals from Penn State University. Randeep also obtained a certification in Security Testing: Vulnerability Management with Nessus from LinkedIn in September 2020.
