Mark Kretschmer currently serves as the Head of Data & Strategy at Rentelligent, a position held since May 2021, where responsibilities include strategic oversight and business analysis, including leadership of operations in Germany. Prior experience includes a role at rheform GmbH from February 2017 to May 2021, where Mark served as a Data Analyst and Consultant, focusing on data warehouse management, ETL processes, reporting, and dashboard creation, as well as product development of a Tableau-based benchmarking tool for higher education institutions. Mark Kretschmer holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Düsseldorf and a Bachelor of Arts in Staatswissenschaften from Universität Erfurt.

At Rentelligent we build an end-to-end tenancy life cycle platform. For landlords we aim to increase income security, mitigate risk and enable process efficiency. We cater to tenants by making it easier and secure to enter and stay in the housing market. Rentelligent operates the two leading tenancy administration platforms Husleie.no and SmartMiete in Norway and Germany respectively. We started off in Norway, one of the smallest, yet most digital rental markets globally, back in 2017. Five years later we took our big shoes on and stepped into Germany, the biggest but one of the least digital, rental markets in Europe.
