Edwin Wills

Edwin Wills is currently the CTO at Rentify, a position they have held since January 2014. Edwin is responsible for leading and growing the engineering team, handling the technology roadmap and strategy, with a focus on process and efficiency from product down to a P&L level.

Prior to joining Rentify, Edwin was the Head of IT at British Rowing, where they were responsible for managing the IT team, designing and specifying bespoke IT systems, and developing applications using Ruby on Rails, PHP, Drupal and Moodle. Edwin also maintained office IT, including network equipment and servers, and managed the company's phone systems.

Edwin is passionate about making life easier for customers and staff by delivering polished and thoughtful solutions. Edwin is also dedicated to mentoring and growing the data, product, and engineering team to build Rentify's core product around Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticache, jQuery, React.js, AWS.

Edwin Wills completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a year in industry at the University of Kent.

They are on a team with and Lucy Jones - Managing Director. Their manager is George Spencer, Founder & CEO.
