Sebastian Bartels

Sebastian Bartels has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2012, they worked as a student assistant at FEV GmbH. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a scientific assistant at Forschungszentrum Jülich, where they conducted research on energy and climate analysis. Sebastian then joined DNV GL as a consultant in 2017. At The Information Lab Deutschland, they served as a BI consultant from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they founded Bartels Analytics and worked as the CEO while also serving as a BI and Visual Analyst at Sebastian Bartels Analytics. Most recently, they co-founded repath in 2021. Overall, Sebastian Bartels has gained significant expertise in analytics, consulting, and research throughout their career.

Sebastian Bartels has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and energy technology. Sebastian first pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2008 to 2014. After completing their bachelor's degree, they furthered their studies by obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Energy Technology from RWTH Aachen University, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. During this same period, they also attended Chalmers University of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Sustainable Energy Systems from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sebastian Bartels has acquired two additional certifications. Sebastian became a Tableau Certified Professional in July 2018, obtaining this certification from Tableau Software. Furthermore, in March 2019, they received the Alteryx Advanced Certified credential from Alteryx.
