Scott Bednarski has extensive experience in the esports and competitive gaming industry. Scott currently holds the position of Marketing Program Manager (Esports and Competitive Gaming) at Sony Interactive Entertainment, where they joined after the acquisition of Repeat.gg in August 2022. At Repeat.gg, where they served as Global Marketing Director from 2019 to 2022, Bednarski worked on one of the world's largest esports tournament platforms, collaborating with brands to reach gamers. Prior to that, they were the Director of Esports at the Australian Institute of Gaming, where they focused on promoting the Australian esports industry and providing career pathways for gaming enthusiasts. Bednarski also held the role of Head of Global Marketing at XY Gaming, a large esports tournament platform, from 2013 to 2019. Scott has a wealth of experience in various areas, including marketing, media/PR, social media, support, and community management. Additionally, Bednarski served as the Community and Marketing Manager at Skrilla in 2019 and the General Manager at Vox Eminor from 2010 to 2012. Scott began their career in the gaming industry as a Community ShoutCaster at GameStah, covering live events in Australia and overseas. Bednarski also gained recognition as a Franchise Player for Australia on the television show Championship Gaming Series, where they represented the country in Counter-Strike:Source and took on media and interview responsibilities.
